It is now an increasing trend to use the internet and other electronic technologies to facilitate learning. Thus, the field of elearning offers an excellent opportunity for teachers and training facilitators to either shift careers or gain useful skills for their current line of work.

This course will cover a wide array of topics that aim to introduce you to the process of elearning development: elearning and related concepts, multimedia design and development, and interoperability standards and storage of learning data.

Greten Vicke S. Estella is licensed teacher with more than ten years of experience as an instructional designer and elearning developer in both academic and corporate settings.

His instructional design career began as a courseware developer for science and mathematics in a college network. Then, he moved to the textbook publishing industry to storyboard elearning modules for K-12 students.

He subsequently moved to industrial corporate training where he developed materials for facilitator-led safety training, and asynchronous elearning modules for industrial safety, software applications, and soft skills.
